Step 2 - Using FDISK - Option 3. Delete DOS Partition or Logical DOS Drive
3. Delete Logical DOS Drive(s) in the Extended DOS Partition

Select the logical drive that you wish to delete. Note in this example there is only one logical drive to choose from. You may have more logical drives on your system.

Simply specify the drive letter that you want to delete and press [Enter]

You will be asked to enter the Volume Label of the logical drive you want to delete. Leave this blank if the drive does not have a volume label (As in the example shown).

Once you have confirmed the Volume Lable you will be asked for final confirmation from FDISK before it completes the deletion.

After confirming the delete, FDISK will carry out the operation and show you a summary of the operation.

Press 'Escape' to continue.
