Have just spent an evening trying to install an NEC 1300A DVD Rewriter under XP Home.XP constantly identifies it as a Vobid Instant Drive CD SCSI CD Rom Device, not bad for an atapi drive. Funnily enough drive is not functional. Any ideas anyone?
I had the same problem and found out that the driver is part of pinnacle`s instant cd/dvd software. After deinstallation of the tool the "VOB-drive" disappeared. Then I connected the DVD drive again and it was ok.Hope that helps! cheers svenvk
I've receently purchased an /O magic external usb2 dvd writer. After installing all driver/software I also get an information in my device manager stating Vobid disk drive? and i cannot get the nit to work? anyone has any idea???
lo all recently i installed xp prof and after i did all my update and all that it now fails to recognise my cd rw or dvd rw, both have been renamed as other manufacturers drivers i have a asus crw 52x24x52 cdrw and a nec dvd rw can anyone help me on this matter your help would be most gratefull.
